### Rollercoaster Rides and Stiff Tests: How Are We Assessing Leeds United’s Start?

Leeds United have kicked off the 2026/27 campaign with a mixed bag of disciplined league displays, a Carabao Cup run, and a wild night out in London:

* **Nottingham Forest 0–1 Leeds United** (A winning start on opening day courtesy of a late free-kick)
* **Nottingham Forest 0–2 Leeds United** (EFL Cup second-round victory back at the City Ground)
* **Leeds United 1–1 Brentford** (Points shared at Elland Road after a back-and-forth battle)
* **Brighton & Hove Albion 1–1 Leeds United** (Another gritty 1–1 draw on the road on the south coast)
* **Chelsea 6–3 Leeds United** (A chaotic, high-scoring EFL Cup third-round exit at Stamford Bridge)
